Touring sucks with these gas prices...

Something that affects a lot of us, CNN acknowledged it themselves. Trying to tour on a couple hundred bucks a night is not something that can exist at the moment.
This will no doubt affect the way bands operate... one good thing that might come from it, is that local and regional scenes might get stronger like '80's and 90's. People will also stay closer to home to see bands...

Best thing I think I've seen in years.

Buffalo marching band rocks Coheed tune into the Finals

NME likes us, they really like us (Jaguar Love)

Well the UK press seems to really be responding to Jaguar Love - NME picks JL as one of the best 5 new bands to see at T in the Park, Gigwise gushed on the new album, Guardian, Metro and Drowned in Sound all seem firmly aboard. Now lets see if the US press can follow their lead.

Sleepercar do The Old 97's, Lucero.

This one is special to me. For Sleepercar, any hesitancy for some people to embrace it's americana/indie vibe, is surely because it's such a departure for Jim Ward. I'm sure they think it might be an ADD-inspired wandering that he will abandon before the end of summer. Well no, he's been working on these songs for 6-7 years on the side and is happy as hell to be making this his band right now. The fact that the mighty '97's handpicked Sleepercar for these dates swells the heart with pride. To warm up for those dates, Lucero snatched the band for a handful of Texas fun to kick the run off.

Check, Check...

So, because having a website for a management company just seems absurd, this will have to do. I want to let people know what we're working on, what we're thinking and where we're going. This may just be a calling card for Black Sheep, but maybe we can do better. I can't say we'll try, but I can say in an ideal world this will slightly more interesting than a boasting forum. Only time will tell.
